Begin with her hull, which is fast and efficient on all points of sail.
With a long waterline, a characteristic of all Finot designs and her plumb bow, she cuts through the waves and the chop with ease.
Her bulb keel and wings and her rudder protected by a skeg, give her helm a nice feel, a moderate heel and excellent stability, while maintaining a a shallow draft of only 4'3".
The Oceanis 321 is also generous on deck : numerous portholes and hatches for ventilation, the simplicity of all handling lines (brought back to the cockpit on jammers), well positioned, quality winches and equipment (rigid vang, furling genoakept clear of the anchor, large "T" shaped cockpit, standard wheel steering, opening transom with swim platform in skirt...).

Effortlessly you unfurl the mainsail, steering with her standard wheel. (Or if you have opted for the classic mast version, the full battened mainsail comes out of her cover and is easily hoisted between the lazy jacks).

The boat was always sailed by us, along the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia off Lunenburg Bay, where we had our mooring.
Mostly daytoerns, a few longer "trips" (for instance to Halifax).
We can proove that the boat was regularly serviced by the Marina specialists, motor, hull etc.
We ourselves kept it very clean inside, among others we oiled the wooden parts each year.
We liked the design in general, the interior layout, the easy handling of the sails etc.
