"Chris Wickum" is an authentic Chinese junk built in 1972 in Kowloon China (Hong Kong) and is currently berthed in Jack London Square (Oakland, California.) Fred Anderson Boat Works painstakingly re-built this magnificent vessel over a four year period.
The hull and cabin are built entirely with teakwood.

The engine is a Caterpillar 3160 which was completely rebuilt.
The entire project was completed in 2005 and has been meticulously maintained ever since.
