"The Farr 30 has amazed competitors on the race course with its speed in all conditions, but the real test is when sailors actually take the helm.
The boat has a large rudder which provides balance and superb control both upwind and down.
It accelerates like a dinghy, but feels like a big boat going upwind in a breeze.
The cockpit is a marvel of comfort and efficiency from the innovative folding footracks, to the internal sail controls.
Everything is easily at hand, functional and smooth.
This sailing machine will be easy for less experienced crews to handle, and will never stop rewarding the most experienced sailor.

LWL 27.56; LOA 30.94; Beam 10.10; Draft 6.90; Displ 4561.
In 2005 the boat was refurbished and since that time maintained extremely well.
The hull and decks are all awlgrip surface.
In 2007 the boat has a new epoxy bottom; Running rigging and sails have been replaced regularly, with several sails hardly ever used or new.
The boat has its own dedicated trailer, which has been upgraded with electric brakes, repainted, and rewired.
It is absolutely the best regatta boat I ever owned.
Due to a changing lifestyle I am sorry to see it go."
