Basic Decription: Up for sale is our 1996 Grady White Sailfish 272
that was damaged in a coastal storm 2 years ago and declared a total
loss.
The boat was the subject of protracted litigation that was
recently settled.
In the meantime, we bought another boat rather than
wait for the settlement so we could either repairreplace the package.
The boat has two 1996 Mercury 200 HP EFI engines that were heavily
damaged.
However, the lower units, power trim and tilt pumps and
hydraulic steering are all good.
One of the engines had only 10 hours
on a re-manufactured power head.
The engines are not seized.
The
FACTORY hardtop with electronics box and rocket launchers is in good
condition and there are many other much-sought after GW parts that are
either intact or in good condition, especially the seats, black Lexan
cabin hatch lid, and a matched set of 2 Quicksilver Mirage stainless
steel counter rotating propellers 14 34 diameter X 17 pitch.
The hull
needs a lot of fiberglass repair, especially the starboard rear
section.
Also included is our triple axle Legendary Marine aluminum
bunk trailer that is rated for 13,000 pounds.
This is one of those
situations where the sum of the parts is much more valuable than the
whole package.
If we had the time, we would remove the hardtop and
sell it separately, block the hull and sell the trailer and then start
selling the parts piece by piece.
If you need lots of the hull parts,
take the whole package, and earn back your investment and a profit by
selling the top and the trailer.

Trailer will NOT be
sold until the boat is largely "parted out" and we can make
arrangements for disposal of the hull.
