: The engine has 900 to 1000 hours on it.
There are
two 25 lb.Danforth anchors, wchain on both, the cabin stays dry and
there are compartments under both bunks for clothing, there are two
hammocks in the cabin for additional clothing, there is an automatic
bilge pump plus another rear bilge pump . there is ,under the deck a
compartment with a manual bilge pump and extra line.
She has two
saddle tanks 35 gal. each.
She has a flat bottom and can be driven up
onto the beach and having thrown out a rear anchor can be backed off
if the tide is up.
My wife, dog, and I have spent eight days aboard
her and were comfortable in the worst of weather.
There is another
hatch over the captains quarters to give a nice breeze under way.
With
the auto pilot operating care must be taken or you will fall asleep.
She is as good a handling boat with a following sea or heading into
the sea.
There are two electric windshield wipers, the port side one
needs to be hooked up.
That is about all of the key features I can
remember.
She is a great boat.
ADDITIONAL AND IMPORTANT NOTES:
What I am attempting to do is to convert a fishing boat into a mini cruiser for two people.
The boat is in my front yard at this time undergoing some renovations.
Consequently the boats physical appearance is in the process of changing at different times.
The following list is of the physical properties of the boat at this time.
I am in the process of gel coating the fiberglass above the water line, as well as sanding the bottom of the boat and applying bottom paint.
The engine has about 900 hours on it.
It is a four-cylinder Ford Lehman diesel, At cruise speed of 8 kn she burns three quarters of a gallon per hour.
There are 2, 25 pound Danforth anchors with chain's on both, Complete with 60 feet of 5/8 inch nylon line on each.
There are two 6 foot in length V bunks in the forward cabin, with storage underneath for clothing or miscellaneous items.
There are open shelves above each of the two bunks.
The cabin stays dry.
There is one automatic bilge pump and extra bilge pumps come with the boat.
She has two 35 gallon fiberglass saddle tanks, Included is an electric fuel pump to transfer fuel from one tank to the other.
She has a unique bottom built-up of 10 layers of fiberglass and made to drive up onto a sandy beach, and having thrown out a rear anchor, you can back her off on on a rising tide.
There is a deep skeg in the rear joined to a flat bottom, which means that she will sit on the bottom and not rollover.
My wife, dog, and myself have spent up to eight days in relative comfort.
The aft end of the boat has been made into the galley complete with a hand pump, sink, a refrigerator, two drawers, a two burner propane stove with a 10 pound tank of gas and additional storage.
She has a tiller autopilot, She has two electric windshield wipers.
I added about 4 feet of roof,and mounted 45 watts of solar panels on that roof, The solar panels keep the four batteries charged, so far I have been able to run the cabin lights and refrigerator overnight without discharging the batteries.
She has a good portable GPS, as well as a built-in compass> In addition there is a good VHF radio on board.
She is a good handling boat, with a following sea, as well as heading into the sea.
There is a 2,000,000 candlepower spotlight in the operators cabin, and various internal lights throughout the boat.
