Basic Decription: 1949 Higgins Sports Speedster, 23' model.

This is one of three known of this particular model and size.

The boat was restored to its original configuration in 2004, and a new bottom installed, along with the full cosmetic treatment.

The engine was rebuilt as well, and is original to the boat: a 1949 chrysler straight 8 - 145 hp.

The boat has been in the water and used each season since it's restoration.

There is a trailer with it, but it is marginal.
