1978 Irwin Citation, the sailing vessel ELKA.
This vessel has been very good to me over the 6 years I have owned her.
She came to me as a good sound boat in need of some TLC.
I lived aboard and traveled in her and put many hours and dollars into bringing her up to date and keeping her safe and comfortable.
I have a survey from 2005 available.
She is currently docked in the St.
Johns river south of Jacksonville in Palatka Florida about a days sail from the Intracoastal Waterway.
ELKA is a 1978 Irwin Citation 34.
She is 34 ft, has a draft of 4' 3" with the board up, 5'9" with it down, and a beam of 11'9".
This beam makes her very spacious inside.
The headroom is 6'2" inside.
Her mast is 46' 1in and ballast is somewhere around 11,000 lbs.
I purchased her in 2002 and lived aboard until 2007.
I have also sailed her from the St.
Johns river in Sanford FL to Key West in 2003 and 2005.
Other than the few months in the keys she has been in fresh water from the time I purchased her.
She sleeps 2 in the V birth, 2 on the convertible settee, 1 on the couch and 1 in the aft quarter birth.
