| | | | The Pearson Wanderer was designed by Bill Shaw as the competition to the venerable Alberg 30 and in many ways “one upped” that design.
The Wanderer has a longer waterline and more usable interior volume which translates into more living and storage space.
It’s draft with the board up is only 3’6” allowing it to go where deeper boats can’t and with the board down she is very close winded.
Over the last 3 years this boat has been significantly upgraded.
The hull has been epoxy barrier coated.
The topsides, deck and cockpit have been painted with awlgrip (this year).
Nonskid has been restored(last year).
New 130% Genoa (1 season old),
New full batten Main(1 season old),
All Standing and Running rigging replaced (2 seasons ago).
Set-up for single handing.
All sail controls lead to the cockpit with new cabin top halyard winch and Lewmar Rope clutches.
Single line reefing.
Dutchman Sail Flaking System. (allows the main to fold up on the boom like and accordian)
New Schaffer 1100 Roller Furler (2 seasons old)
New Garhauer solid boom vang, Genoa track and blocks and mainsheet blocks.
New Balmar 70 amp alternator, new Balmar ARS-5 regulator, 4 new AGM batteries (315 amp hours) and Engine Start battery, Battery system monitor.
New Xantrex Truecharge Battery Charger.
All deck hardware has been refastened and re-bedded (no leaks!)
New Lewmar Oversized Hatches.
All new Running Lights and wiring(1 year old).
New Centerboard Pin and Cable.
New Lavac Head and all hoses replaced (1 season old).
New cutlass bearing.
Prop rebalanced.
Electrical Panel replaced(4 years old)
Icebox has Refrigeration and 5” of insulation.
Sea-swing stove,
2 bilge pumps(manual and auto),
Spinnaker and pole.
Propane Grill on stern rail.
Garmin GPS,
Standard Horizon VHF.

All Topsides wood is either new or refinished.
