OVERVIEW: The Meercat 34 (built in South Africa under PROUT SA), is a well maintained, twin
engine diesel, blue water cruising catamaran, Owned and operated by a Certified Marine Surveyor,
CATALINE comes equipped with all the sails, electronics and components for coastal AND blue
water cruising, Ideally suited for the Bahamas and cruising areas beyond, Exceptionally easy
to operate and maintain, She has completed the Great Circle Loop, trips to the Bahamas, the
entire ICW including many offshore trips, CATALINE was purchased new, shipped to the US for
outfitting, used for 4 yrs as a trawler type vessel (for the GCL) then sailing rig added in 2008.

ith STALOK fittings, The decks are cored fiberglass incorporating 8 opening fresh air hatches,
numerous storage lockers, perimeter safety rails, twin bow seats with rails, steps built into aft
hulls, retracting swim ladder, removable davits, 6 to1 engine hoist and radar platform, Cockpit
incorporates helm station with adjustable Captain's seat, athartship and aft bench seating with 3/4
wrap-around sunbrella bimini with removable STRATA Glass windows.
INTERIOR: A three berth (twin doubles and a single) arrangement to include:broad center main
cabin, separate head compartment, navigation station and galley, Cabin soles are teak and holly,
Numerous storage compartments via shelves and lockers, Berths and bunks are fabric covered.
SYSTEMS: Steering - hydraulic with manual backup, Engine/gears - Twin, single levered dual
action cable operated, Engine instruments include gauge readouts, Fresh water (2X35 gal hull
encapsulated tanks) pressure water to include electric hot water heater, Head - manual Type 3
(with holding tank and Y valve) with deck pumpout, Fresh water to sink and shower in enclosed
head compartment.
Galley: Triple sinks, LPG 2-burner stove, AC operated freezer and fridge, microwave.
Electrics: Both 30 amp AC and 12 v DC systems, LED Interior lights LED, 1000 watt AC inverter to
include 50amp smart charger, LED lit panels with battery/charging monitors, Three deck mounted
solar panels for house and electric windlass batteries (windlass power on separate circuit).
Electronics: COMPILOT autopilot linked to GPS navigation, 1500watt RADAR linked to
