This Searay Express boat is a honey and has all the comforts of home for
cruising or fishing.
It’s a sturdy and reliable boat that can take rough
seas or the calm water of rivers or lakes, It’s been up the Hudson and out
in open water to Block Island and Martha’s Vineyard, She is an economical
and burns about 12 gallons an hour, cruising at 3000 RPMs 19 or 20 knots
and she is easy to navigate.
Life lines have been installed down the side of the boat for safety because
of the narrow decks, She has a windlass anchor for anchoring out and a 1800
invertor to make your coffee in the morning, She has 3 batteries installed,
The refrigerator /freezer was replaced in 2011 with 110/12 volts.
To keep
your food fresh, It has a two burner electric stove, a small microwave, For
comfort it has air conditioning and heat and also has central vacuum, which
is a dream to clean up the sand, The interior of the cabin was refurbished
in Spring of 2012.
All new faucets and hand held shower were installed in
the head.
4 people are comfortable on this boat, The table collapses for a double
bed.
The cabin is light and airy with 3 hatches and two side windows, The
beam on the boat is 11’ 6 making it comfortably wide, It has plenty of
storage space, She only draws 3 ½ feet of water so you are able to go in
shallow water and walk to beach, The swim board is built in with a draw up
ladder, The risers and elbows were replaced in 2010 , A compression test
was done in 2012 after replacing the carburators and found to be better
then a new boat.
The boat has been scraped and bottom painted every year.
A marine survey
was done in 2008 for insurance purposed and found to be in excellent
condition, She’s a sturdy boat and will take you comfortably in rough
seas,rain fog or the sun shining.
It is equipped with 25 mile radar, electronic
compass, GPS, VHF, ,depth finder, and fish finder.
It can be fished or
cruised.
