My 1966 steel clipper was custom built by and for the owner and his wife.
I know them personally, so I knew everything was done perfectly.
The boat is original, except the dinette has been removed, and replaced with two swivel rocking chairs and is now, a very nice sitting or reading room with track lighting, very comfortable and quiet.
As you enter the boat, right or left side, on the rear outside deck, there is a 8’ wide setting area with enough room for the two boat chairs.
Also has a full width roll-up awning that pulls out so you can sit in the shade.
From the rear deck you enter through a center sliding glass door into the upper enclosed cabin, cockpit area, on starboard side just inside the enclosure, there’s a swivel rocker, ahead of that is a refrigerator/ice maker, which holds the captain seat, big enough for two.
All controls are starboard, across from that on port side is a full pull out couch, sleeps two with reading or nightlight on the ceiling is a roof mounted AC unit, approx 13,000 btu that cools the upper enclosed salon and also can be directed downward to cool the lower galley and sleeping & reading area.
Galley is on portside, with refrigerator & freezer, microwave & 3 burner range.
On lower starboard is the head area with sea land porcelain head & shower.
Ahead of shower area is a full sit down setee, which sleeps 3, across from the setee is the reading area.
As you head into the V berth, there is two hanging closets & a large V berth with 2 new mattress.
This boat has so much storage area and drawers, to much to write about.
It’s hard to explain how nice she handles & rides in rough water and believe me, I know cause we’ve been in 12 foot waves & still ran comfortably at 16-17mph.
Has 100 gallon stainless steel fresh water tank.
New Macerater Pump, Auto fire extinguisher in Bilge, Lo-Oil, Hi-temp shut down, Plus and minus Charge system to help eliminate rust,
Engine has approximately 475 hrs, Transmission has approximately 500 hrs, Color GPS unit, Ship to shore radio,
Engine Synchronizer.
