| | | | 1983 Wellcraft V-20 Steplift, probably one of the most popular models ever built by Wellcraft.
This boat has been painstakingly restored by a master marine mechanic.
Boat is not perfect, but I'm sure the cleanest Steplift around.
The following list contains items that were replaced with new or reconditioned/rebuilt.
A lot of items were added that were not original to this boat.
Boat has new bow and stern light, bow, midship, and aft cleats, bow chocks, bow rail fittings (all) and bow rail upright tubes, wiper motor, arm and blade, dual electric horns, fuel filler neck and vent, bow and stern eyes, blower vents and collector boxes, passenger handrail, transom thru hull drain fittings, cockpit fittings, and hoses, bilge pump, bilge hose, float switch and discharge fitting, blower motor and hoses, battery, battery tray, battery switch, cables, stern access doors (port & starboard), power trim pump (complete), all toggle switches, fuse holders, key switch, and 12v socket on dash, catch latches and hasp on cabin door, vinyl covering on dash top, engine box insulation, interior cabin light, Engine box insulation for sound and heat reduction and Wellcraft logos on both sides and a whole lot more!!!!
Engine with only 9.5 hours, was rebuilt in 2007 by a Master marine mechanic (motor is a 470r(1986 vintage) using new pistons, rings, cam, rods , main bearings, oil pump pickup, camshaft, lifters, pushrods, gaskets ,exhaust manifold, and elbow.
All bellows, transom water hose, trim limit switches, transom shift cable has been changed.
Transom assembly was removed and upper steering shaft & seals replaced with new ones.
Transom assembly gasket to hull as well as hardware was replaced.
Drive was vacuum and pressure tested.
New water pump installed.
Propeller was reconditioned and a spare propeller is included.
Has trailer tilt switch which will raise the outdrive to the proper height for trailering the boat.
And power tilt switch limiter that limits the up / down travel avoiding possible damage to outdrive.
Fuel tank filler and vent hoses were replaced in summer of 2006.
Tank is a custom made aluminum 60 gallon.
Cabin material, such as headliner, sides and carpet, were completely replaced and cabin cushions recovered.
Passenger back to back seat came out of Robalo R265.
Seat, base as well as helm seat cushions were reupholstered to match.
Canvas is approximately 5 years old and in excellent condition.
Has clear side walls and full rear enclosure.
Two transom storage lockers with lift out containers as well as an in floor anchor / fish box.
Swim platform with folder ladder.
Slide bow hatch give easy access to the cabin and also to the bow.
Two built in rod boxes both port and starboard side
Trailer is a Long 1998 galvanized with rollers and tandem axles.
Taillights and wheel cylinders are new.
All lights work as well as the brakes.
Trailer has fresh water wash down tube system that directs fresh water directly the brakes.
T4000 Power Winch and spare tire included.
Really has no time on it to speak of.
Bottom freshly painted, as well as outdrive.
All zincs have been replaced.
Also includes all coast guard equipment life vest, emergency distress flares, fire extinguisher, horn, and whistle, boat anchor with chain, boat hook and oar as well as Humminbird LCR4-ID Depth/Fish finder.
Standard Horizon VHF marine radio with protective cover, channel and volume control buttons on the mike and marine antenna.
The boat does have some stress cracks (cosmetics only) & floor hatch that covers fuel tank is a little soft (easily fixable).
Manuals included Owner’s, Parts, Service, Brakes, Humminbird LCR4-ID.
This superb V20 Steplift boat is fast, secure, and comfortable.
Easy to handle and great for fishing and family fun this boat is in better condition than many boats half its age.
