Fully restored to mint condition.
This vessel underwent a full ?keel up? restoration at Runabout Reflections.
Old wood was replaced with new mahogany as necessary.
All mechanical and hardware elements were renewed or replaced as necessary.
The original double planked bottom was replaced with a cold molded plywood epoxy molded bottom of much greater strength and stability.
The original mahogany planking was removed, repaired as necessary and then refastened and glued to the original frames.
The frames were also repaired as necessary prior to installation of the planking.
The original vinyl covered deck was removed and a new mahogany planked deck was designed and installed over a 1/4? plywood substrate that was glued to the beam first.
The original dash board was removed and a new dash panel was designed and fabricated out of ?old growth? curly grain redwood.
New instruments and control switches were installed in the dash panel.
The original vinyl covered cockpit sealing panels were removed and new mahogany planked sealing boards were designed and installed.
The original motor and transmission were replaced with a new Indmar marine V8 motor.
The original electrical wiring was removed and the entire vessel was rewired with modern components.
The 12 volt battery is an Optima heavy duty marine type unit.
The fuel tank has been stripped, cleaned and coated. a marine fuel filter has been installed.
Both a manual and an automatic bilge pump have been installed.
The propeller, shaft, strut and coupler have all been replaced with new ones.
The original hardware was rechromed to appear as new. the windshield hardware was rechromed.
The windshield glass is tempered plate.
The original steering wheel was replaced with a modern marine rimmed wheel.
The bottom is coated with penetrating epoxy and black bottom paint.
The name and registration lettering is done in gold leaf and paint trim.
The red vinyl upholstery is new and custom designed. the cockpit is new gray carpet over 3/4? marine grade plywood.
The single axle trailer has been completely overhauled. it is painted black to match the bottom paint of the boat.
